Our Artistic Staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, and of course the dancers work very hard to provide an outstanding experience for our audiences. We are always looking for additional support from volunteers, donors, and sponsors. Get involved with us and join the RCYB family!

Company Dancers

The Royal City Youth Ballet Company remains focused on developing our youth members, not just to be great dancers, but to be great people in whatever they choose to do in the future. Dancers return year after year, building a tight-knit community.

We are pleased to welcome dancers into our RCYB family!

We accept new members to our Company every June. Company members can expect to perform in The Nutcracker, have access to excellent dance training through rehearsals and masterclasses, and may have other performance opportunities throughout the year.

Donations & Sponsorships

The Royal City Youth Ballet Company works to showcase young artists and provide them with the encouragement, preparation, and experience necessary to shine in the professional dance world (and beyond). But as a non-profit organization, we need help from the community. Our aim is to present the most professional production possible, not only in company dancers, but also with sets, lighting, costumes, and programs. The cost of putting on such productions is great.

We can provide tax receipts to donors and recognition opportunities throughout the year for our sponsors. If you're interested in supporting company dancers and would like details on sponsorship opportunities, please send an email to info@royalcityyouthballet.org

Volunteer

Our Company is completely volunteer run, including our Board of Directors. Many parents choose to get involved because their children are dancing with RCYB. But many others volunteer for other reasons: because they love dance or the theatre; because they want to learn more about the behind-the-scenes activities of the ballet; or because they want to give back to the community.

We have volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas, and little to no experience is required! This includes roles in:

* Costumes
* Props or Set Making
* Backstage jobs during performance season
* Merchandise sales during performance season
* Marketing and public relations
* Fundraising and grant writing
* Event planning
* Administration
